iOS 8 Beta 3 is Available for Developers – New iCloud Drive Functionality, New Handoff Settings & More

On July, 3rd, the third version of iOS 8 Beta, iOS 8 Beta 3 was released 20 days after the second version iOS 8 Beta 2 which was released on June 17. iOS 8 Beta 3 is now available for developers to explore and study the new features, functions, etc.

iOS 8 Beta 3, labeled build number 12A4318C, was released to Apple developers via OTA mechanism. According to the MacRumors Post, the latest iOS 8 Beta added new functionality and updated some app’s features. Let’s have a look below.

What's New on iOS 8 Beta?

Add new iCloud Drive functionality: A new popup window giving users the option to upgrade to iCloud Drive

Update Find My Friends app: Allow users to move their friends list to an iCloud account if necessary
A new handoff on/off slider in the Settings menu: Allows users to seamlessly transfer tasks between iOS and OS X

An option to millimeter the QuickType keyboard: Let users toggle QuickType on and off
Shared Photo Streams has been renamed to Shared Album in the Photos app
Events and albums from Aperture are now available in the Photos app

Note: iOS 8 Beta builds are intended for developers to test their iOS apps and it should be careful to install on your production device. And there is always a risk to lose data after iOS update.
